Limestone Mountain Celebration

We had a wonderful celebration yesterday of the Chiricahua Land Conservancy’s first property acquisition: 40 acres on the southern slopes of Limestone Mountain overlooking Portal and Cave Creek Canyon. 54 locals, many of whom are professional and semi-professional birders and naturalists, came together to celebrate this conservation success. What an amazing community of talented people dedicated to the protection of nature! And what an amazing place to preserve!!
